well diary that was dramatic. i owed a favour to a fire spirit to burn down an strng hold of the wyrm and i knew just the place. The Frat on campus might complain about the rise in beer prices, but drinking so much is not good for them any way. we snuck back into the the kings facility to burn the wyrm tainted place to the ground. getting in was easy but we had to hide, it seemed that kings has a number of unusual customers. a strange clown for one who was demanding a tithe of beer that one of the breweries kings brought owes them by achient contract. odd that a travelling circus is owed beer in perpetuity. maybe there is more to this circus than meets the eye. we waitted untill the clown left and set our blaze going. that was a sight to see all that beer and spirit soaked paper really burned well.
Grey Paw Lost in the underground.
Ok, Hacks-the-Wyrm is boss for this Chimage, so we figured we’d follow his lead. He suggested we sneak in and burn it from within…sounds good and means we can definitely do damage. Hacks got in disguised as a student, while Grey Paw and I entered via the umbra. Course, before we could do much more, we spotted a corrupt Weaver spirit logging 2 sacks around. Naturally, we discovered those sacks contained smaller, slime/corruption spirits we dealt with. Grey Paw introduced the Corrupted Weaver spirit to the error of its ways and cleansed it (I let him use my glaive…dont like it, but for the Greater Good and all). Found out those packages were supposed to be dropped off after being collected from 3 possible locations. Still, we continued in until we came across one of the company big-wigs offices. A big-wig in question was being harranged by a clown of all things. Granted, even I dont think clowns are funny, but I think this was more The Joker kinda clown. Just hope it dont end up a Violator type clown.
Anyway, we waited until clown and bigwig were gone, then popped in and rummaged around for anything flammable. Using my gift, we started a fire and left. Had to run for it though, as our fire had attracted some flame spirits and we were in a bit of a curry to make ourselves scarce. Still managed to make it out though, where Grey Paw used his Weaver bound ticket to take us to Central Park.
With that done, we could do a little hunting around for an Uktena Pack we could use as an intro to our upstate Uktena pack. course, we dont know many but we managed to learn from Faster-than-Death that there was a vampire with magical items around. If we have magical items, we could trade them to another Uktena pack for help. Sounds like a sound idea.
Vampire’s in queens, so we took the underground to get there. Turns out Greypaw has claustrophobia, since he and Rena disappeared midway through. Had to wait for them to return (they got a rat spirit to help out).
