well that was interesting. we got a tip that a vampire (what a world first werewolves, now vampires, what next mummies) was holed up in queens with some forbidden Lore. we promised tour totem when he accepted us that we would recover any such lore for the Garu. so no choice really heading upstate would have to wait. who ever thought getting to queens would be such a challenge. we all took the subway, but Grey paw had a minor panic attack and slipped sideways, dragging Reana with him. lucky no one noticed really. all we could to was carry on and wait for them. had a decent luch for once without the vegan complaining. eventually they arrived having made a deal with a rat spirit to show them he way. the next problem was we had no idea where the vampire was and queens is not a very small place. so we started where any sensible person starts, and research, the local library, that turned out to be a bit of a waste of time. but Marlw and pol did get a lead, not sure why it involved marlow shaving a dog, but we eventually fllowed a cat (yes i do mean a cat, dont ask) to a house that grey paw confirmed was likely the place as it was most definatly wyrm tainted.
Grey Paw Cats ask strange things. But are definitely sadistic.
Greypaw and Rena managd to meet up with us, but we figured we needed info on the bloodsucker before we jumped in and dealt with him. Decided to go to the library to see if I could find something useful, while the others went off looking at various books. DUnno why, but hey, each to his own. They might find something useful. The old newspaper archives was useful, as a number of interesting things had been going on in the area the vampire was in recently. Also, smelled like someone else had been looking at these files recently. Wonder if it was another pack? dunno why i feel dirty for touching those files…still, no worries.
After the library, we split to get some more info. I decided to see what the other free spirits of the area had to say of the surroundings. Cooked them a nourishing meal as we chatted since it was close to lunchtime, but it was worth it. Lunch is good and important to have, but also found out some interesting info. Apparently, there have been lots of muggings and diappearing people recently. Also, new doctor opened up a charity practise nearby. Some crystals are healing wacko, though apparently they do deliver results, so maybe some human wierd mystic stuff.
When we met back up, Pole asked me to help her shave a dog. never done that before and must say, it was hilarious to do! Only partially shaved little doggy, but wow…cant see myself doing that to another garou…at least, not doing it and geting away with it without some very good plans…hmmm, maybe can try against one of them fallen garou? Still, Pole said we did it cause a local cat offered some info which turned out to be the location of the blood suckers home. Greypaw confirmed this, as he had been sniffing around for wyrm taint. Yay! Go us! We found the vampires lair!
